Residential Concrete Installation, Concrete Repair, and Custom Concrete Design

While concrete is a durable material used in the exterior of homes for driveways, walkways, steps, and patios, it is not indestructible. Over time, concrete can develop issues like cracks, settling, chipping, discoloration, raised or sinking slabs, uneven concrete surface texture, and more. Old concrete looks unsightly and can be hazardous.

Our team has completed several custom concrete projects this year.

Concrete Sidewalks and Concrete Driveway

This was a three part project and our team got it all done in one day! With projects like this, we are able to work on the various parts simultaneously. This one was a three part project with two different sidewalks and the driveway.

Part 1:

The first part of this project was to remove and replace the sidewalk in front of the residence.

The old walkway was original to the house and it had become crooked, warn, and salt damaged. Our crew was on the job with a concrete solution! We removed the old sidewalk, evened out the ground, and poured fresh concrete. The new front sidewalk looks great and it will last for many years.

Our team pours concrete sidewalks that are even, smooth, and have the proper drainage.

Part 2:

The second part of the project addressed an old brick sidewalk issue.

This client had a brick sidewalk that led to a trellis on the side of their house. The brick, however, was uneven and the property owner opted to replace it with a new concrete sidewalk. Our crew removed the brick walkway, evened the ground, and poured a fresh concrete sidewalk with proper drainage.

Branson Gilliland Excavating does concrete right! Our team has the tools and experience to pour high-quality residential concrete sidewalks and walkways. Clients count on us for professional concrete work that will last.

Part 3:

The third part of this project was to repair and replace part of the garage and replace the entire asphalt driveway with a new concrete one.

This was the largest part of the project and took care to get right. The front portion of the garage that had been exposed to weather was cracked and uneven. And the blacktop asphalt driveway was also in need of replacement. The homeowner made a great choice when they decided to replace it with concrete. Concrete driveways are more porous, can handle more wear and heavier loads, and will last much longer than asphalt. Our crew removed the asphalt, prepared the area for proper drainage, and poured fresh, smooth concrete to create a brand-new driveway!

The new driveway not only looks great but is even and smooth. This resident will enjoy a quality concrete driveway for years to come.

Finishing Touches for Every Concrete Project

Some projects require a little something extra. We are pleased to extend our network of professionals to our customers to produce an even better project outcome. Recently we worked with Top Dog Construction for a staircase job and Paynekiller Fabrication for a porch railing.

It is our commitment to customers to leave the worksite neat and clean, leaving behind only the beautifully completed concrete project they desired. That means that our crew takes care to restore the ground and remove debris. For concrete projects, after demolition, we always haul bricks, dirt, and old concrete or asphalt waste away from the property. We then take care of proper disposal for our clients. When necessary, we lay hay to protect the ground and aid grass regrowth after equipment has been through the yard or the ground has been dug up.

Branson Gilliland Excavating believes that no concrete project is complete until the work is done. That includes project cleanup and we ensure that the worksite is left better than we found it!
