Foundation Repair and Waterproofing

When a structure is taking in water through the walls or basement, it is an issue that needs to be addressed. Moisture management can be very stressful for homeowners but also cause long-term damage over time if not properly corrected.

This home in Southern Indiana had moisture problems and the owner called Branson Gilliland Excavating to take care of the problem. Over a three-day period, our team was able to use our excavating expertise and mitigate the issue.

Waterproofing, Block, and Perforated Pipe

This project involved digging around the whole house all the way down to the footer. We installed waterproofing, block, and perforated pipe. Next, the crew backfilled the area with stone all the way to the top of the ditch. Going forward, the stone allows water to drain down to the pipe. Lastly, all of the excavated dirt was moved to the back of the property and the crew graded around the house.

Drainage, foundation work, and grading are some of the services our team does best!

Upon completion of the project, the property owner was happy to have a waterproofed home. With the foundation repaired properly and water now being directed away from the structure, there is no more moisture in the basement.
